Was responsible for the hiring, training, scheduling and management of daily operations for a team of of approx 40-45 team members, ranging in job duties from Receiving Dock, Outside Yard, Lumber Warehouse and Morning Stock.

Served as the primary fill-in General Manager for the store, when the general manager or assistant was either scheduled off or on a scheduled vacation.

Responsibilities of my outside team included maintaining the outside lumber yard and warehouse to be clean and organized, fully stocked, inventory maintained and located correctly, and all customers assisted with their purchases.

Responsibilities of my receiving team included operating an efficient receiving dock including stocking all bulk-style freight, sorting the incoming freight from our Distribution Centers by section, accurately receiving in correct inventories , handling of customer special orders and properly locating and logging them.

Responsibilities of my Morning Stock team included the efficient freigh-flow of product from the dock, to the display shelves, stocking all material fully, logging and locating overstock and ensuring all product were priced and displays were correct.

Received the 2018 'Top Operating Yard' Award from the Menards General Office. Ranking my team's performance that year as the 6th best out of 335 locations.

Was stationed in the Belton location for approx 3 months, to assist that store with the opening process.

Included receiving in over 7 million dollars in inventory over a 3 week period, Stocking the outside yard and warehouse completely in preparation for the store to open in Oct 2016

The remaining time i spent at that location, I was tasked with training the entire yard and receiving team, to make sure they were ready to be on their own once i moved to the KC North location to take my own yard.

Served as 2nd in command for the Outside Yard, Warehouse and Receiving Dock at the St. Joseph MO location.

Assistant Manager of the Wallcovering and Grocery Departments of the store. Responsible for training the staff, merchandising products neatly and correctly, and meeting or exceeding department projected sales goals
