After leaving Hanover county fire dept. an opportunity presented itself to continue building leadership skills in a fast paced manufacturing/mining environment as a safety lead. As I have progressed within the company I have obtained the VDMME(Virginia Department Mineral Mining Energy) foreman certification. This position requires attention to detail, multitasking, working in a fast paced environment. The foreman/safety lead role is to oversee all plant operations ensuring they are in compliance with local, state and federal laws. Assisting team leads in production when problems arise and provide critical decision making that results in achieving company goals as well as upholding core values of the company.
