• Learned the function of dental tool , and Helped assistants with the cleaning and sterilization of dental tools that were later used in surgery
• Collaborated closely and learned with Both surgeons about how to identify and categorize teeth
• Utilized and was taught on the correct procedures on how to utilize specific dental equipment, like the orthopantomograph. Additionally I then went on to utilize it on patients for consultations. Helping the two doctors I was shadowing under to start the identification and location of the dental anamolies

• Sterilized dental tools and cleaned surgery areas routinely for the whole 9-10 workday
• Helped in surgery by, providing suction in bleeding areas, taking X-rays that were later used to identify dental issues.
• Answered calls throughout the workday and directed patient to procedure areas, while also advising them on pricing and their next steps. Specifically I helped with scheduling and determining valid payment methods for the practice

Mission of Mercy

Fellowship between all prominent dental practitioners in the Memphis and greater Tennessee area, where free dental care Is facilitated. Additionally free dental products, discounted outside service, and important dental advisement is given.

Over 1000 patients were seen in the first Weekend of the Event.

I specifically helped with sanction and acted as a dental assistant during surgery like root canals, and routine dental extractions.

Mississippi Blvd Church African American Dental community

I acted as a liaison for my father's practice, and distributed information regarding sugars and their relation to enamel deteoration. Furthermore, I had the opportunity to speak to children about the importance of the dental profession and how frequency and consistency in their dental hygiene is paramount.
