My name is Ryan Nelson and I moved to the mid west after my time served in the Marines. After my honorable discharge I attended Minnesota State, Mankato before making a career choice of emergency medical services. I attended EMT school at South Central college, then obtained employment with Northfield Hospital EMS as an EMT on an ALS level service. I then put myself through Fire I & II at Hennepin Tech fire academy in Eden Prairie; afterwards enrolling in medic school at HCMC where I successfully graduated. Shortly after obtaining my paramedic certifications, I became our departments FTO where I have trained numerous candidates on the correct daily operations of a semi-rural ambulance service. In addition, I am also an AMLS/PHTLS instructor, conducting yearly training for all employees at NHC-EMS. I am a dedicated professional with eight years of experience on an ALS-level ambulance, where I exhibit compassionate patient care, following protocols as advised. I operate efficiently under high-stress situations to deliver effective and essential treatment to many patient demographics. Moreover, I'm intelligent, hardworking, team-focused, and extremely dedicated to my places of employment.
