  • Main focus on email security. Utilized Proofpoint and O365 to investigate/monitor security incidents involving email including data exfiltration and violations of company policy. An example is an employee emailing themselves to their personal email account sensitive information such as company information or clients PII.
  • Engaged with internal threats. Threats can include employees violating company policy, exfiltration of data and misuse of company assets. Sent email notifications to employees in question and the steps to remedy them. This can include warnings, disciplinary action and termination in rare cases. Discovery of threats included centralized log analysis, data in motion/packet Capture, email analysis and Endpoint monitoring.
  • Assisted in Endpoint Protection solutions . Viruses and malicious employee activity. Monitored in Digital Guardian and Splunk were utilized for more detailed information. Employees computers were isolated if investigation showed risk to the company, company's assets or an employee
  • Fast paced work. SLA's range from 15 minutes to 1 hour. Security incidents were logged in great detail in ServiceNow. Tickets have to be audited for accuracy and accountability of the analyst who submitted them.
