Area Manager Business Banking leads a team of Business Relationship Managers in developing new business and deepening existing relationships to position JP Morgan Bank as the primary bank for our clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, management, support, direction, and guidance to a team of BRMs within a territory in developing new deposit, cash management, and credit business while focusing on relationship-building, client experience, and risk management.
• Manage performance of individual team members, holding BRM accountable for achieving measured metrics
• Coach and develop team on all aspects of managing a portfolio, prospecting, loan structuring, pricing and developing customized solutions, over come complex situations
• Build collaborative relationships with partners across lines of business, Wealth Management, Home Lending, Branch teams, Commercial Bank, and Private Bank
• Recruit and maintain a diverse pipeline of viable candidates to hire, develop and retain top quality talent by creating an inclusive and respectful team environment.

• Acquired and Managed a portfolio of approximately 100 clients providing credit, cash management, and deposit solutions, consistently ranking in the top portion of peer group
• Built network of prospect, COI throughout DFW area
• Delivered customized business banking solutions generated over 60 million in new credit production with in Business Banking
• Mentored new hires in Market/ Completed Leadership program

• Grew newly established branch in Dallas with commercial loans, deposit production, retail credit, fee based services
• Identified key business segments through networking, cold calling and established customers
• Lead sales team in acquiring DDA and complex analysis accounting
