  • In August 2024, I was asked by John Leroux, Valero inspection manager, to take over the role of Logistics & Asphalt Plant Unit Inspector.
  • From August 2023 to August 2024, during this time, I was nested at the Valero Wilmington Refinery, conducting and coordinating all the API 570, 510, and 653 external inspections for the plant.
  • During my time at Valero Wilmington Refinery, I have been part of many turnarounds, where my main roles were performing API 510/570 inspections and managing all piping packages.

While working at Valero Wilmington Refinery, I learned how the inspection program (PCMS) works, and how to write proficient API 570, 510, and 653 reports.
  • I was put in charge of conducting all API 570, 510, and 653 external inspections for the entire plant.
  • From November 2015 to December 2015, I was part of a team that worked on a turnaround at Valero in Wilmington, CA. My main role was following piping packages and performing API 570 piping walkdowns.
