Animals have always been a passion of mine, I grew up with multiple animals, never have I had a time growing up were I didn't have a dog or cat running around. I grew up with the drive to help those who cant help themselves. After high school, I had heard about "veterinary technicians" and that there was a school to become one. So naturally, I went for an interview and started my career in February 2013.I graduated with my degree in June 2014 and passed my VTNE that fall. I started out in Crestwood IL working at a banfield October 2014. I was promoted to shift lead in march 2015. I than relocated to Florida in August of 2017 which began my new transfer to Oldsmar, FL. I relocated to Clearwater FL in October 2018. I was at the Banfield Clearwater location for an additional 3 years. I took a step back and went to private practice in a non lead role, looking for different opportunities. I quickly discovered that my skills and knowledge were too valuable to not be shared. I like to lead by example , provide compassion and understanding to patients and owners . As a natural leader in this field, I want to help maintain a hospital with gold standards that provides quality medicine. I would want to know that all 4 of my pets, as a client, were receiving top quality care by well supported veterinarians and educated technicians. I want to advance my experience as a hospital leader while increasing my knowledge as a technician, as i have never ventured out beyond preventive care and general anesthesia.
