Testified to the state senate through CORAS in 2023
I was honored to be asked by my principal in early 2023 to write a testimony and then testify to the state senate finance committee. I then was able to speak about the struggles that came from living in appalachia, and all the problems with the education system throughout the appalachian region of Ohio, along with the lack of funding provided by the state for repairs and other downsides. I testified that despite the unfairness the state allowed throughout the public education system, I was able to make a stand and plead for a more fair and equal dispersion of funds.
