Worked closely with resident juvenile's in support of the cognitive behavioral therapy token society intervention strategy of this institution to promote positive behavioral change while decreasing negative behaviors. Advancing the goal of community reintegration without future justice involvement consequences.

Duties Included

• Applied cognitive behavioral interventions and operant behavioral techniques to support positive behavioral changes
• Identifying and understanding the emotional and cognitive challenges that contribute to adolescent anti-social activities
• Provided group intervention's to further the psychosocial skills of adolescent's
• Worked as a part of a collaborative team to evaluate and set individual goals for the residents of the facility
• Ran the incentive store of the reward system of a token society. Reinforcing positive targeted behavior's by applying the point system fairly and equitably, maintaining correct accountings for each resident
• Observed and participated in deescalation techniques
• Developed clinical communication and inter-personal skills with adolescent client's
• Demonstrated the ability to be resilient, empathetic and have patience in a highly intense environment

• Supported staff members in their daily tasks, reducing workload burden and allowing for increased focus on higher-priority assignments.
• Sorted and organized files, spreadsheets, and reports.
