Rylie Pindel

I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Education at Utah Valley University with a History endorsement. Through this program, I am developing the instructional strategies, classroom management skills, and educational foundations necessary to create engaging and inclusive learning environments for students. Building on my bachelor's degree in History and my experience as a Division I student-athlete and team captain, I bring strong leadership, communication, time management, and collaboration skills that will support my future career as an educator.

• Student athlete for the Utah State University softball team. Successfully balanced rigorous academic coursework with Division I athletic commitments with strong time management and self-discipline. Communicated effectively with teammates to create a positive and collaborative team environment. Demonstrated leadership, responsibility, and respect towards teammates and coaches, both on and off the field. Actively represented the athletic program through participation in community service, reflecting commitment to character, teamwork, and service.

• Cashier at Ventura Munitions in Las Vegas, Nevada, responsible for delivering high-quality customer service through clear communication, active listening, and attentive engagement with customers. Assisted customers in locating products, answering questions, and providing accurate information about store offerings and services. Maintained a welcoming and professional environment by addressing customer needs efficiently and respectfully.

• Student athlete for Southern Illinois University Edwardsville softball team. Demonstrated strong commitment, responsibility, and respect towards teammates and coaches through consistent dedication to athletic performance. Served as a positive role model by promoting sportsmanship and inspiring younger athletes through leadership and community volunteer work. Actively reflected personal strengths and areas for growth, adjusting techniques, and maintained a demanding training schedule to support continuous improvement.
