As a Custom Security Officer I would foot patrol various building on the city of Portland contract to include City Hall. I honed in my de-escalation skills as well as my defensive tactics working at the Union Train Station where we sometimes needed to remove subjects and passengers from various trains. The Union Train station is where I was mostly posted and performed various tasks to include keeping track of inbound and outbound trains, keeping the peace of the Train station, searching luggage and trespassing/arresting subjects.
