  • Starting as a Technical Service Group Leader, grew and managed an account from 7 million dollars to 20 million dollars annually.
  • Worked directly with customer, Kia and NBCi to gain approvals and procured 100% of KIA/Hyundai business from a paint competitor. This has resulted in around 3 million dollars annually.
  • Revamped and reorganized consignment system at customer. Added an MTO responsibility and tracking system at the customer to ensure we are paid within 90 days for all of our slow running colours. The result has been less obsolete and non used material at the customer.
  • Worked with customer purchasing and materials group to create as system which provides accurate yearly volumes to be used in new colour pricing. The result of this is an increase in our GP at all of the AP Accounts.
  • Worked with Customer management group to negotiate a 5 year and two 3 year sole supplier agreements.
  • Negotiated sole supplier agreement for two new facilities in Alabama and Mexico.
  • NB COATINGS SERVES OEM AND TIER SUPPLIERS AROUND THE GLOBE AND IS THE LEADER IN PAINT-ON-PLASTICS FOR BOTH DOMESTIC AND TRANSPLANT OEMS IN NORTH AMERICA.

  • Worked directly with the Field Technical Service Manager and Field Sales Manager to develop and implement a business plan for a new paint facility built in Alabama. Was the point person between internal technical service, sales, field technical service, new facilities management and corporate management during building and launch phase. Implemented a field technical service launch schedule which included hiring employees for our Canadian and American accounts. Supported all three facilities to ensure proper coverage.
  • Managed one of the company’s largest account (around 19 million dollars in sales annually) and surrounding area.
  • Created and implemented a business plan which eliminated four of the seven full time employees while maintaining full coverage and increased customer approval rating.
  • Provided monthly reports to management showing the current and future manpower demands, product issues as well as new business opportunities and potential business threats.
  • Completed yearly reviews on direct reports, provided constructive criticism and continuous improvement plans.
  • Worked with Sales Manager and Field Technical Service Manager to negotiate a 5 year sole supplier agreement.
  • Created and implemented a “real time” paint forecasting system which reduced paint expedites by 90% and debits from paint shortages by 100%.
