At Carmax I am a Presidents Club Senior Sales consultant. It is my job to make sure the store profits by selling our cars. On average I sell 18 Cars per month. I have moved my way up from a sales consultant to a Directors Club. Soon to be Presidents Club. At carmax you have to have a number of skills to be successful. I am responsible for contacting leads that have come into the store. I have to guide each lead through the process to close the sale. I am also required to sell a protection plan that is beneficial to the customers while making sure they are within or close to their budget and happy all at the same time.
I am a part time sales assoiciate at H&M and I am in charge of coming into the store 3 days a week and working on the new shipment that we get in. I have also done many of the other duties on the floor including selling clothing items, helping customers in the fitting rooms, working on the register, and cleaning up the store.
Working at mapco I was a 3rd shift associate. This meant that from 10pm until 6am I was the only associate in the store. I ran the store by myself and if there are were any issues I had to take care of them. I was in charge of shutting the store down at 3am, sending in all the sales from the previous day, and re opening the store. I also do the basic duties of the store like cleaning and selling merchandise.
At Advance Financial I worked the overnight shift. During my shift I was responsible for helping customers with many different products. These products included; Payment of bills, Cash advance loans, money order purchase, prepaid card services... etc. I was also responsible for shutting down the store, making sure all of the stores money is accounted for and sent off to our corporate offices. As a sales representative we also have to be very careful in making sure we make very little to no mistakes and keep all of our paperwork documented accordingly, being that a loss can cost the company a lot of money. At advance financial I handled large amounts of cash from one dollar up to one hundred thousand dollars. I was also responsible for making sure the store was organized for the next shift to take over.
