  • Interpreting, explaining and enforcing federal, state and local air pollution control laws, rules and regulations to the public, sources and other stakeholders
  • Conducting complex site inspections and complaint investigations using highly specialized instruments and equipment at a wide variety of facilities with little to no supervision

  • Inspection of high voltage and secondary power lines for SDG&E to ensure that surrounding vegetation will not contact the power lines within the upcoming year
  • Correctly identify and measure the vegetation in and around the power lines and poles
  • Determination of the electrical equipment on each power pole to decipher if the surrounding vegetation is in need of removal.
