From a small child, I loved to draw, I just didn't know how good I was at it until I entered an art competition through the tremendous encouragement from my art teacher at Saint Louis High School. He entered my self-portrait into the art competition and it was awarded a gold medal for creativity and artistic ability where it was featured in the Honolulu State Art Museum for a week. I played sports such as football and baseball from a small age but, really fell in love with football. It allowed me to let out anger in a controlled way that created a competitive spirit in me which I loved. Was a team captain my senior year of football and led the team to the OIA D2 Championships and made the second team all state for Hawaii's high school football.
50+ hours of community service while at Kapiolani Community College. Doing beach clean ups on the shores of Aina Haina beaches, working at the Hakipu'u Lo'i farm, and doing clean up around the Hawaii Xeriscape Garden was some of the services I participated in.
