I am an empathic, insight oriented psychotherapist with a passion for heping clients develop an awareness of unconscious thoughts and patterns of behavior so they can respond to life more authentically. I have been a licensed marriage and family therapist since 2001 with a vast array of experience in private practice and clinical settings. I employ a holistic approach to therapy, pairing talk therapy with mindfulness practices and EFT. Compassion is my super power.

  • Created an essential oils company of organic, artisanal hand-poured wellness and perfume blends that grew into an international business profiled in VOGUE and Martha Stewart Living.
  • Developed business processes and marketing strategies to generate more business opportunities and cater to a clientele of primarily women.
  • Created and facilitated events where I taught participants how to make essential oils blends. Participating organizations included: University of Southern California (for student athletes), Harvard-Westlake School (for parents as part of an annual fundraiser) and Pluralistic School One (for middle school students).

Clinical Settings and Internships

  • Santa Monica and Culver City Unified School Districts (8/97-6/98). Provided individual and group therapy with students. Advised teachers and school staff regarding how to respond to student's behavioral issues. Conducted in-person and telephone interviews with students and parents.
  • Our House Grief Support Center(4/97-8/98). Led group counseling for adults and children grieving the death of a spouse, parent, child or sibling.
  • The Julia Ann Singer Center, Clinical Associate (3/96-8/97). Provided therapeutic aid in the Autism Nursery, Counselor in the Family Therapy and Family Stress Programs, facilitated group therapy for children who had experienced abuse. Was chosen as the only MFT associate in a Family Therapy program available to Ph.D. candidates. Facilitated therapy for adults and families, wrote assessment and treatment plans, including diagnosis and progress reports.
  • Campion Counseling Center, a project of Ocean park Community Center(5/95-4/96). Provided individual therapy for women and children who experienced domestic violence. Conducted client intakes, developed therapeutic goals, treatment plans and written reports.
