Sally Cushing

I have worked in the dental field full time for several years. During this time, I have worked primarily for two different offices. Westwood Dental Group in Lakewood, and Heil Dental Arts in Westminster. I have also worked for a company called Temporary Fill Ins over the course of my career.

I worked with Westwood Dental Group for 12 years. During this time I was able to work in a large office that was dynamic and fast paced. I was able to hone my skills as a Dental Assistant during this time. I developed professional relationships with co-workers and fell in love with the patients. I absolutely loved working there however when I became pregnant with my second child, I made the decision to put my career on hold so I could raise my children. I did continue to work with Temporary Fill Ins off and on during this time in order to keep my skills up.

After about 10 years, I started working full time again for Heil Dental Arts. I worked at this office for almost 11 years, until shortly after Dr. Heil Retired. This office was smaller and I was the only Assistant during this time. Working at this office was the highlight of my career. I enjoyed working with everyone on the team but had a special connection with the patients. I love seeing people with beautiful smiles and love to help brighten their day.

I love working in a team environment and would like to contribute in any way I can for many years to come.
