Salvatore Buttafuoco

At Shans Collision I take all cars from the start to completion. I handle all paint and prime work from prepping the cars to buffing the cars. I also do all the assembly and disassemble as well as the heavy and light body work. I hand tint some colors and primers when it’s necessary. I run the day to day operations and keep things moving smoothly and efficiently.

At Twisted metal I took on the roll of being the problem solver slash go to guy. I would go from writing estimates to helping customers to managing custom builds and seeing them out. I helped all the guys get through their work any way I could from being hands on to ordering parts and what not. I also did some painting as well as heavy work. I did a lot of custom fabrication and restorations there too. I was also in charge of all the scanning and reprogramming of the cars ECU’s and making sure all sensors are working properly

At Garden City autobody I was in charge of all the painting, including ordering materials as well as mixing paints and maintaining the spray booth. I used water based paints as well as solvents and learned to use the 5 angle paint camera. I also did all their heavy duty frame work on the frame machine. I did all the pulling, cutting, welding and measuring. I ran the day to day operations at the shop including some hiring and firing. Everyday I dealt with customers and insurance companies.
