Working hard to build positive relationships with the firefighters, police officers, and other coworkers has proven to be far more than beneficial. Building friendships with coworkers and other agency personnel. This helps build the best team to provide the best care to the patients that we serve.
Lead medic on primarily EMT/Paramedic 911, MICU while leading new EMT and Paramedic students to help them achieve their goal of becoming the best providers possible. Teaching high school EMT students how to operate in this stressful and complicated job environment. Working in the roll of a Flight Paramedic being looked up to by younger and less experienced providers and acting as a strong roll model.
With an attention to detail, my objective has been to be as familiar as possible with the equipment that we use often, more so, with the equipment we use less often. Reading the owners manuals and keeping well trained with multiple monitors, IV pumps, ventilators, radios, air splints, traction splints, and LUCAS device. Reading and rereading my EPCRs, attempting to explain in great detail with precision the call and the protocols that were used.
Main field training officer for Rockwall County EMS since September of 2022. Training new hires in driving, SOPs, protocols, firefighter and police intradepartmental relationships, and overall call dynamics. Part of the chart view team since may of 2023. Assigned as primary peer review for charts at Air Evac.
Working full time at Air Evac Lifeteam in the roll of a Flight Paramedic. I have gained exposer to a roll working with multiple different agency's to provide the best patient care as a team. Working with a flight nurse and a pilot to build a team that provides the best possible patient care and transport team.
Working part time as an EMT while in paramedic school at Rockwall County EMS full time as a Paramedic since the September of 2021. Working a busy 911/critical care transfer volume with 120,000 citizens and four Critical Care equipped MICUs with ventilators and IV pumps. Leaving full time and working part time since February of 2025
Working PRN at Speedway EMS to provide ALS care to patients at large special events and Nascar races. Working at Texas Motor Speedway.
Working for Dr. Fagan at Baylor Lakepoint PRN in the ED as a Paratech, working as a contracted employee. Working in the ED assisting with ED operations, pt care, IV and lab work, and assisting physicians with skills.
