Sam Walrath

I am interested in data science because I have a strong background in math. In math-related topics, I feel a sense of reward equal to the effort I put into my studies—for example, Numerical Analysis or Linear Algebra. The coding part of data science is fun because it challenges my problem-solving skills and helps me see things in a different light. When presenting data or working with people, I find that I am flexible and easy to talk to. I'm proficient in Python and Java in my college courses, and by the end of this semester, I will learn new ways to code in R and SQL.
