This floor is a designated post operative care unit on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Tele/Medical surgical unit. Caring for 6 patients per shift, heres a few skills I have obtained while working here:

• Transfusions such as: blood transfusion and plasma transfusion
• Wound care / Post op dressing changes
• Ostomy care
• Continuous bladder irrigation post op care
• Telemetry monitoring
• Diabetes management
• Monitor labs and administer electrolytes such as magnesium or potassium if needed
• Catheter insertion/ management
• Complete patient admissions and patient discharges
• Call in patient consults
• Obtaining patient consent for surgeries/procedures
  

• Manage 8 to 10 behavioral patients per shift.
• Assessed patients for risk of suicide or self-harm and implemented safety protocols as necessary.
• Documented patient progress notes accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record system.

• Mechanical ventilation management
• Trach care
• Gtube/ Peg tube / Jtube feedings
• Equipment such as hoyer lift
• Wound care

• Organized event facility, food and beverage selections and audio-visual arrangements.
• Planned, coordinated and executed weddings and special events.
• Assisted with training and supervision of staff, driving successful event management.
• Managed content development for meeting and conference agendas.
• Maintained close communication with clients to mitigate service issues.
• Coordinated vendors, timelines and budgets for events.
• Assessed event success and identified improvement areas through client feedback.
• Directed event production in collaboration with sponsors, hosts and internal teams.

• Proofread and finalized marketing communications and documentation prior to release.
• Updated web pages and social media profiles to reflect proactive strategies and engage customers.
• Created new images, marketing copy and graphics to support successful marketing efforts.
• Created and followed processes to support client communication and calendar management.
