
My experience spans from fine dining service to ESL teaching, where I've developed adaptive learning strategies and fostered cross-cultural understanding.
Through several years of working in the restaurant industry, I have developed strong communication, problem solving, and leadership skills by collaborating with both colleagues and management to develop new systems and protocols which ensure efficiency as well as customer satisfaction. In addition, working in such a fast paced, high stress environment has also led me to become extremely adaptable and able to quickly jump into action, providing aid where it is needed.
During my time with New Labor, I enhanced both student understanding and engagement by utilizing leadership and organizational skills, providing personalized one-on-one lessons in addition to group instruction. I displayed proficient problem solving skills and creativity by developing lessons that could be successfully adapted to students of varying experience and skill levels within one class. In addition, I gained unique cross-cultural communication skills as a result of my interactions the variety of students I encountered.
