• Responsibilities as a tech aid include obtaining vital signs, CPR, transporting patients, stocking and maintaining equipment in the Emergency Center and other duties assigned by the charge nurse.
• Responsibilities as an EC tech include starting Iv lines and obtaining blood work, insert and remove catheters, wound care, splinting broken bones and working in the “resus” bay where we get to help with the sicker patients who need immediate care due to life threatening circumstances.
• As a tech I have worked with critical care patients in the resus room and transported them to the ICU.

I would assist the lead teacher in teaching, observing, and supervising children in our care. In my case we make sure our infants needs are met while recording their milestones as well as doing weekly DOL’s. DOL stands for Development of learning. We have boards in our rooms that explains our activity and how it is meeting the milestone that we are working toward that week.
