- In the PetSmart ARE cattery I was able to get a total of 10 cats adopted by doing the adoption process, volunteering during adoption week, and overall connecting with customers when providing insight of the cat’s behavior and personality. I not only helped cats get adopted but monitored their behavior during my shift while also serving as a companion towards them as I let them out of their kennels to play. Without volunteers, many cats would be left without home trapped in shelters forever. In essence, I gained a total of 90+ hours volunteering at the Cattery.
