Senior Manager: Nutrition Education and Training Manager for the nutrition education and training team. Assists in program management activities; oversees nutrition education, staff training, projects and employee wellness activities;
Project Director: Little by Little Program Project Director for Little by Little, an early literacy project for WIC families throughout Los Angeles County. Managed a $30 Million budget, insured that project was running successfully in 10 WIC sites and maintained a strong collaboration with the project team, the 6 local agencies and the funder.
Project Manager: Children’s Health Information Research Project (CHIRP) CHIRP was a collaboration between the UCLA and the PHFE-WIC Program which explored the role of WIC in the rising incidence of overweight in young children. Managed the project by assisting in the design of the research, designing staff training and insuring data collection and smooth running of the project.
Project Manager: Statewide WIC Media Campaign Served as a liaison between the State WIC Branch, Local WIC Agencies and various advertising agencies for a statewide media campaign.
Project Manager: Health Care Access Coordinated all aspects of a grant to increase health care access among WIC families.
