  • As a Full Time supervisor, my job was to oversee an automated building in the control room through live cameras on monitors and live data of how the building production was meeting our set productivity goal. At the beginning of the shift ,my task was to generate a loads list of how many expected trailers we would need to process that night. I would also generate a Daily Operating Plan (DOP) with the projected volume in the trailers and set how many employees would be able to work to make the production goal. Daily reports would be checked about service results from previous days and research discrepancies if not meeting the service goals. I am on a team of 5 Full Timer supervisors and 25 Part Time supervisors which was ranked #1 sort on Key Performance Indicator (KPI) in UPS.

  • As a Retention Specialist, my job was to work and train newly hired employees. Making sure the employees were trained to work safe and up to UPS standards. I was also in charge of making sure the Part Time Supervisors were properly trained to complete their tasks. I was in charge for checking reports any up-coming or outdated safety tasks, automation rankings, and any supervisor training. Each newly hired employee had a packet which was completed withing the first 30 days of them working and i needed to check the packets weekly to ensure the employee was being trained properly and the supervisor was providing correct information in the packets.

  • As a Part Time supervisor, i was in charge of running a certain area with a predetermined amount of employees from the Daily Operating Plan (DOP). My main task was to ensure all employees were working safely and making sure the correct packages were being loaded into the correct destination. Daily results of service would be reviewed with the team of employees that reported to me and if below the service goals, i was retrain the employees and ensure the importance of making the service goals. If a newly hired employee was in my area, it was my responsibility to properly train them and document all tasks the employee has achieved within the first 30 working days.

  • As a loader, my job was to scan and load all packages into the correct trailer and at the correct rate of 600 packages per hour. I needed to make sure all packages were scanned so the customer would know where their package was currently. If scanned and loaded into the incorrect trailer the package would be delivered late and would reflect on the daily service reports. My Part Time supervisor and other employees would make sure everyone was working safe and handling the packages correctly.

  • As the Head Cashier, i was in charge of counting all cash drawers at the beginning and the end of the shifts to ensure everything was accounted for. I worked with new cashiers, ensuring accurate and efficient productivity. I assisted customers with any questions involving product location, returns, and concerns. At the end of each week, all invoiced would be entered and saved to be sent to cooperate to have them paid out to ensure adequate product for the following week. Also made sure all of the weeks revenue was counted and correct and brought to the bank to be deposited.
