Assist in routine and non-routine operations of the caster. Operation of the tundish car, keeping a good tundish, making sure all stock is readily available, operation of all panels, operation of overhead cranes, performing maintenance work as needed, assist caster technician in operation of the caster as needed.

Inspect/ operate pickle line cranes. Inventory pickled coils within the bay. Transport coils to/from R/T mill, Annealing, Tension Leveler, coil bay. Assist pickle line exit operator in the operations of the pickle line. Prep/ band coils as they're being ran. Assist in maintenance of the pickle line as needed. Fill in as pickle line wet technician as needed.

Keep coil bay cleaned of oil/ debris, oil side walls of annealed coils, grind side walls of rusted coils, cut back coils as needed, assist all lines in maintenance work as needed, keep supplies stocked up on all lines, keep trash cans emptied, smash pups in pup smasher and discard in to appropriate dumpster, assist all lines in the operation of cranes as needed.

Wound both the primary and secondary coils for single phase and three phase transformers. This consisted of operating coil winding machines, programming computers to run specific coil designs, keeping up with inventory of supplies, operation of an acetylene torch, operation of a tig welder, operation of both stand up and sit down forklifts, troubleshooting and performing maintenance work as needed, communicating with other departments to negotiate problems and maintain the flow of the shop.

• Searched cells of inmates to identify and confiscate contraband and other prohibited items.
• Escorted inmates to and from cells, court, hospitals, and medical appointments.
• Observed and supervised inmates throughout visits, meal time, recreation, phone calls, and showers.
• Conducted routine and emergency head counts.
• Prepared, processed and maintained forms, reports, logs, records, and activity journals.
• Completed intake paperwork, fingerprints, and searches.

Worked as a pod officer, yard officer, officer in the high security area, intake officer, cell extractions, searched cells for contraband, escorted inmates to daily activities and visitation, escorted inmates to the hospital, completed log books of all activities, reports of all searches, took head counts.

Worked for Manpower as a temp at Ermco as a builder in Core and Coil. Also worked as a temp at SRG Global in Ripley, Tn as a forklift operator.

Excalibar was a rock grinding mill. I started out as a temp stacking 80/ 100 lb bags of finished product. Went full time with a promotion to Loader/ Crusher operator. My duties included operating a front end loader and keeping the mills full of rock, loading all trucks that came in, loading both bulk and box railcars, assist in maintenance projects, conducting moisture tests on finished products, assist in operating the mills as needed.
