-As the commander of a statewide investigative unit, I was recruited to develop, staff and lead a group of seasoned investigators to conduct public corruption investigations. The Special Investigations Unit is a unit which never previously existed within ISP.

-In the later part of my career, I was identified as a subject matter expert and solicited to serve on a committee to revamp the basic training for investigators in the Illinois State Police. Subsequently I served as an instructor for the newly developed curriculum.

-I am a certified instructor with ILETSB and have presented course information I developed, in part, throughout MTU 1, MTU 4, and NITAB.

-The Winnebago/Boone Integrity Task Force is a multi-agency task force responsible for conducting police use of force investigations in the Rockford, IL metropolitan area. I commanded a group of investigators from over ten area agencies and supervised these investigations for ten years.
