Still employed with Orange Co ABC . I work part time , cashier, customer service, stock in one or more stores. I have done this the last 9 months.
I like the work and the conditions and my co workers but would like to find something with more hours.
Worked building trusses for homes that were delivered to homes over North & South Carolina. Enjoyed the work for four years, there was a management change and the workplace turned toxic . I stayed thru 6 months of that and felt it wasn’t for me any longer. I had been in management for 50 years prior to that so I knew the difference.
Developed and owned an off premise food service catering business. Business was started from scratch. Developed a customer base of Corporate type customers as well as two Universities athletic departments, also many private clients. Business at the end was catering 650 to 750 events annually . Covid in 2020 determined the closure of the business after the long term staff found other employment.
