Description: Responsible for the replacement and upgrade of facilities infrastructure equipment. Specifically responsible for all construction of technical site infrastructure and emergency back-up systems. Responsible for oversight of construction projects with respect to site infrastructure equipment, including electrical, DC Power Systems, AC Power Entrance Facilities, UPS, Generators, HVAC, plumbing, heating, cooling and ventilation. Other responsibilities may include but are not limited to oversight of maintenance of fire systems, elevators, cooling towers, chiller systems, boilers and BAS (building automation systems). May be responsible to assist with emergency response, including portable generators and restoration trailers. Work with outside Engineers, design professionals and contractors on facilities and equipment repairs. Assist with periodic or special inspections of the premise to determine repair work necessary. Work is completed from blueprints, drawings or sketches. Oversees and/or directs work of vendors. Works with local management and Building Engineers on site assessment in proactive role to sustain the health of the network.. Submits budgets and plans to lead Engineer. Sets up MOP and MASTARS and coordinates safe work time practices. Reviews safety concerns with venders and there subs. facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
