Project Overview : Enterprise Risk & Management

ERM is responsible for proactively managing risk by implementing a robust system of controls that:

• Align risk management across the organization
• Identify events that can potentially impact the entity and support the management of risk within risk appetite
• Review and challenge risks associated with firm's strategy to meet overall objective

Responsibilities

• Designed a persona based entitlements model which aligns with on-prem Entitlement Management System
• Led architecture reviews across a diverse technical and geographically distributed landscape
• Reviewed permit processes and prepared documentation to ensure solution designs complied with regulatory, organizational, and project-specific requirements.
• Engineered a Common Inbox Notification System with Kafka, Elastic Search, and Redis, facilitating real-time notifications, efficient search capabilities, and tailored user preferences.

Project Overview : Citi Risk & Controls supports Citi's Governance, Risk and Compliance programs, comprising the policies, procedures and processes through which Citi identifies ,assesses,manages and reports issues and risks across the three lines of defense

• Led the migration of a monolithic system into a scalable modular microservices architecture improving performance ,scalability and maintainability
• Architected and implemented RESTful API's for service communication, utilizing containerization technologies such as Openshift/Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration
• Led a team of 40 engineers in developing cloud-native applications, enhancing organizational capabilities, managed 4 agile teams to design and develop key common capabilities, including entitlement. reference Data etc ,used across the organization
• Implemented CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing

Project Overview: Business Center is an application portal, which will help accelerate AT&T Digital capabilities to create a personalized, ultra-convenient, and effortless experience, manage the client’s company and user profiles, create tickets and orders, generate relevant reports for SDN products, Flexware devices and different kind of VNF's

• Define and document solution architecture and translate proposed solution to the client’s business team and to the implementation teams
• Work with the implementation team providing technical guidance, reviewing work packages like low level design document, code, test cases etc
• Collaborating with Product & Marketing teams to establish an I.T Roadmap for various product offerings in the Business Solutions domain

Project Overview: PHOENIX is a web enabled activation system that sales representatives use to serve the Business Customers, which include Credit Processing, establishing new customer accounts, activating mobile numbers in bulk or individually, Order Fulfillment and Customer maintenance

• Responsible for delivering technical design documents and working with implementation team providing technical guidance ensuring successful project delivery
• System design using various J2EE patterns like Iterator pattern, Adaptor Pattern, Singleton Pattern, Business Delegate, Data Access Objects, Factory etc
• Involved in designing, developing and configuring server side J2EE components like EJB, Form Beans, Action Servlets, Model classes using Struts Framework
• Implemented Ajax/jquery for rich customer experience
• Used Spring Framework as a Model layer in implementing business logic to interact with the Hibernate for object relational mapping and other business processes of the system

Project Overview: Strategic Systems Platform (SSP) is a software platform consolidating the four separate solutions of Verizon online and Verizon broadband (east & west) into a single strategic architecture. The system serves various orders from clients using the services like Ordering Services (Business and Data Services),Product Catalog, Workflow, NOS, adapters etc.

• Redesigned and implemented the Product Catalog, enhancing performance and resolving memory issues.
• Identified and responsible for fixing database connection issues and time out issues which were affecting the performance and user experience a lot
• Implemented Object compression/decompression of xml in order to fix memory issues
• Evaluated Hibernate with the existing application to identify any performance improvements
• Responsible for tracking/solving defects and able to provide quick solutions for systems accessing Product Catalog
• Pinpointed performance bottlenecks within the code, resulting in optimized software functionality.

PHOENIX allows the BMG customers to activate a new mobile, add new line to existing account, porting a wireless number from other carriers to AT&T, setup rate plan & features for the mobile numbers .

• Spearheaded the development of critical modules, including 'Upgrade a Phone' and 'Rate Plan Change'
• Improved code quality, incorporating thorough unit testing and peer code reviews into the development process.

OLAM is a web-based application which allows the Cingular mobile users to check their Cingular minutes, provide account information, provision to change rate plans and features, upgrade the phone, adding a line and scheduling bill payments
