  •  Throughout my 18 1/2 years with Palmetto GBA I had many jobs.  I started as a Data Prep Clerk which consisted of receiving mail in the Medicare dept and sorting, recognizing, filing and forwarding the documents to the appropriate department. We scanned most of the claims and some of the other correspondence and routed electronically. 
  • From there I moved into a Data Prep Coordinator position where I was responsible for the performance of more than  40 associates. I created monthly schedules, trained all new hires, entered their work hours and helped the company to become ISO certified.
  • Later I moved to the finance department where I was responsible for identifying and depositing up to 1000 Medicare checks daily. Balanced and reconciled all checks deposited using Excel. Managed phone calls from beneficiaries and providers who had questions about a check received or where and how to make a payment. Took meeting minutes and posted throughout the department.
  • After the finance dept moved back to Columbia I worked in the Quality Control department reviewing work from the other associates, correcting errors and training/counseling on the errors and helping to find solutions to minimize more errors.
