Directs all administrative and financial activities of the Bureau of Community Preparedness (BCP) and related to public health emergency preparedness and response.
Supervises the coordination of all grant opportunities available to BCP through the Centers for Disease Control for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Oversees all aspects of federal grant opportunities including, the PHEP Cooperative Agreement and any sources of supplemental funding available to LDH/OPH/BCP, including writing all required budget narratives.

Ensures that LDH meets CDC grant accountability standards in the areas of Fiscal Performance, Administrative Performance, and Programmatic Performance.
Directs the development and implementation of evaluation plans for all grant related activities and programs.
