Sandrine Umutoni

My name is Sandrine, I came from a refugee camp in Rwanda where we spoke kinyarwanda language. When I got here in the USA I didn't speak enough English, I had struggles to communicate so I had use translators at hospitals and other places which was hard because sometimes they wouldn't find an interpreter on time. I went to school for a very short time however I was able to increase my vocabulary and speaking, and now I want to help people who who are also experiencing the same thing and I want to give back to the community the same way other people helped me.
