Accomplishments

- Recruited from Miami-Dade County to create a new film commission in Broward County (Film Lauderdale) and construct business-friendly processes within the County and its 31 municipalities.

- As Broward County Film Commissioner, designed Florida's most comprehensive and robust screen production incentive program, which has resulted in tripling production within three years of the commission’s inception.

- With the lack of state incentives, as the Miami-Dade County Film Commissioner, I implemented the first local screen production incentive program in Florida. This led the way for six other Florida jurisdictions to implement local incentive programs.

- Developed screen industry-friendly policies, evolving industry relationships, and creative incentive programs, which have resulted in South Florida becoming a thriving screen production hub.

- As Film Florida President, I have increased membership by 21% by implementing membership-desired deliverables that have contributed to Florida film commissions creating local incentive programs, increased grant opportunities for emerging content creators, and worked with universities on educational initiatives. Additionally, I have secured legislative relationships that have contributed to positioning the screen industry in a better position to reignite a statewide incentive program.
