My job was to grade out dirt for pipes to be layed, including rcp pipe, water and fire pvc pipe, and sanitary pipe. I made sure pipes were left at the correct elevations. I also did mud work when connecting to structures. I did a little bit of everything here.

My job was to assist the pipe layer by soaping the pipe, making sure pipes weren’t damaged, making sure the pipes were jointed correctly. I also helped with the backfilling process, compacting dirt or any material that was used.

I assisted the pipelayer in making sure pipes weren’t damaged, soaping the pipes, and making sure the pipes were jointed correctly. Any labor work that was needed I was helping even if it wasn’t my position or my duty. I helped with the backfilling process which includes compacting the material and shoveling.
