Sara Gaviria

Hello, my name is Sara Gaviria. I am 17 years old. I completed high school and graduated at the age of 17. I had been going to school while working for 2 years in restaurants. I like to challenge myself with new experiences and I love to learn. I am punctual and a team player. I also enjoy building relationships with my customers. I find makeup and skincare fascinating and I would love to start anywhere such as helping different people feel beautiful, helping them find what works for them, cashiering, cleaning, restocking, etc.

I participated in the high school club Latinos in Action for a duration of two years. Our primary objective was to promote cross-cultural understanding, with a particular focus on the diverse Latin cultures, including Hispanic, Black, Caribbean, among others. Throughout my involvement, I dedicated 137 hours to community service. This included tutoring students from Mirror Lake Elementary School, helping them in their academic work while also passing on knowledge about our rich cultural heritage. Additionally, I contributed various hours at church and participated in harvest drives aimed at supporting families facing financial distress.
