I worked in the Neuro ICU at OU health in OKC. My duties included caring for patients who had ischemic/hemorrhagic strokes, evd's, arterial sheaths, lumbar drains. Care of fresh post op thrombectomy pts. Drip titration, ventilator management, central/arterial line management, patients on CRRT. Assisting the providers with intubations and line placements.

I worked in the Medical ICU on a PRN basis. I was responsible for Managing /titration of drips, ventilator management, assisting with codes/intubations. Taking care of critically ill patients. Such as post cardiac arrest pts, septic pts, DKA, alcohol withdrawal pts. Central/arterial line insertion and management.

I worked on the step down respiratory care unit as an internal traveler. My duties included bipap management, trach care, medication management, pts on seizure precautions, alcohol withdrawal protocol patients, chest tubes.

At this time I was also floated to the Covid, trauma, surgical and Cardiovascular ICU and obtained experience in these icu’s as well.

Management of invasive lines. Inserting peripheral IVs, Foley catheters. Taking care of critically ill patients. Such as post cardiac arrest pts, septic pts, DKA, alcohol withdrawal pts. Seizure pts.

Filling omnicell, mixing medications, maintaining a sterile procedure when working in the iv room and mixing drips
