Summary

I am a passionate environmental activist and an aspiring Health advisor and Leader. I am motivated, positive, and goal-driven. I believe in God and rely on his strength every day. I am a dreamer, but I always work on making my dreams a reality, no matter the situation. I believe in myself and everyone should believe in their abilities and know their worth. Risk-taking has become my hobby. I always venture into things that make me grow, learn and get me out of my comfort zone. I am the Founder of Olexa Sustainability Organization, a youth-led initiative that deals with empowering young people in their role in climate justice and sustainability. I am an African Climate Alliance ambassador and a graduate of a Green Future Fellowship, an environmentally based organization that teaches leadership, advocacy, and action in the environmental sector. I am a passionate singer, songwriter, and poet. My first poetry collection is called 'NO PLACE', inspired by my name 'OLEYO'. I write because I believe someone out there will read. Inspiring one person with my work gives me a sense of achievement. Being a science enthusiast, I love research, specifically curious about the intersectionality between environmental factors and human genetic development and society. My best quote: 'Character defines destiny' My high school headmaster told me this before I ventured into the world of freedom and it has been my pillar in setting myself principles to follow.
