Java developer assigned to generate simulated United States Message Text Format (USMTF) messages for use in test and debugging of data ingest systems for military applications.
Message generation included the creation of classification marking in the correct Controlled Access Program Coordination Office (CAPCO) standard format which allowed customers to test their implementation of security identification and access control functionality.
Reverse engineered live websites to create REST API’s using both PHP and Node.JS.
Reengineered legacy PHP code to, the then new, Node.JS
The API’s were used for development of mobile e-commerce applications. Implemented Agile development and led the Backend Engineering team.
Mentored new employees and junior developers on the architecture on which the mobile websites were built. Held Node.JS classes after-hours for employees and individuals outside of Branding Brand.
Took a team of 6 to the first Node.js conference in California. Built demos to pitch to clients during sales meetings. Invited to Google’s headquarters in New York to learn Google Wallet implementation.
