While working as a server I would have to do my prep before hand which consisted of making the salad bed, fill dressings that were low and cut fresh condiments along with wrapping silverware and making sure the dining room was clean before we opened.
I would also help the bartender set up whatever they needed help with like stocking beer or cutting the fruits that go with drinks.
I would get the ice and make sure it was where it needed to go.
Here I would provide the guests with a menu and silverware, take their orders and serve them their food while occasionally checking up on them to make sure everything was satisfactory.
There would be very busy days where there was only two servers and I would bartend once a week and was doing that for about three years.
I was promoted as the front of the house manager for about a year but stepped down because of schooling but still continued to bartend and serve.
Nursing Assistant
Aveanna Healthcare
Erie, USA
08.2019 - 07.2020
While at Aveanna Healthcare I got the opportunity to work with nurses both RNs and LPNs and help them with their daily tasks.
I got to work with medically fragile children consisting of children with all kinds of medical needs.
They aged from a few months old to nine years old.
The ratio was 3:1.
I changed their diapers or helped them go to the bathroom, I made their breakfast and lunch and provided snacks for them.
We provided transportation and I would get their vitals and their temperature either on the bus or at the facility.
I got the opportunity to organize their playtime and have some educational time with the kids and also helped get the kids to sleep for a nap time.
At the end of the day we would clean and sanitize the rooms to make sure everything was good to go for the next day and do laundry so the kids would have clean blankets for nap time.
Cook
Ruffed Grouse
North East, USA
05.2019 - 02.2020
While cooking, I had to prep everything before we opening and complete the prep list which consisted of anything like make ranch, pressing fresh burgers, making pasta noodles, and prepping the line.
Along with much more.
The kitchen was usually very fast paced and we had to keep up with the orders coming in and make sure we made the food correctly and got it to the customers within a reasonable time.
I handled the frier and the flat top mostly while the other cook worked the sauté line.
When we closed we had to make sure everything was clean and sanitized.
We cleaned the cutting boards, the flat top, made sure everything was put away safety for the next day.
We also cleaned all the dishes that came back from the front of the house.
Hostess
Eat'n Park Hospitality Group
Erie, USA
07.2016 - 12.2018
I greeted guests as they came in and if they had somewhere specific they would like to sit I did my best to seat them there.
I provided them with a menu and explained our specials to them.
Along with being a host I was also required to bake if I worked the morning shift, which consisted of baking off the cookies, honey buns, rolls and a few other things.
If we got busy I would do my best to help out the servers by running their food and cleaning off tables while maintaining my job at the front of the house.

At my job here I was assigned to the subs station.
In the beginning of my shift I would double check to make sure everything is stocked and ready for my shift to use.
During my shift I would have to be prepared for a lot of orders to come in very quickly and be able to make them correctly as the customer wanted.
I would also have to answer the phone to take orders and be able to predict when they will be ready for pick up or when they will be delivered.
At the end of my shift I would have to stock my station and get it cleared my management.
