I grew up in New York in a big family with five brothers, so being around a lot of energy, noise, and personalities has always been normal to me. I think that played a big role in shaping who I am, because I learned early on how to adapt, how to hold my own, and how to care about the people around me. I’m currently finishing community college and planning to continue into either a pre-med or pre-vet path. I’ve always been drawn to work that feels practical and real, where I can actually help in a way that matters.
A big part of what drives me is that I love being useful to people and being around things that feel alive and active, whether that is kids, in nature, or just being in a setting where I can give my energy to something good. I like work that keeps me engaged and lets me be part of something bigger than myself. That is a big reason this camp feels meaningful to me. It combines so many things I genuinely care about: working with kids, being outdoors and around the water, being creative, trying new things, and meeting people from different backgrounds. I love the idea of everyone coming together through shared experiences and learning from one another along the way.
