I moved to Georgia when my father, a pharmacy professor in Korea, immigrated to the U.S. with my family. I decided to take a gap year to support my family before transferring to a local university. Drawn to meticulous, hands-on work, I pursued microneedle research and personally reached out to a national research institution for lab experience. Since then, I've been exploring technical and scientific fields, fueling my passion for dentistry, a profession requiring both precision and care. To stay on track, I’m working part-time, studying dental terminology, and taking online science and math courses. This summer, I will take science classes at University of North Georgia, Oconee campus as a visiting student. No matter the circumstances, I make the most of every opportunity, continuously building the skills to become a skilled dental professional.
I enjoy decorating tote bags and small fabrics with embroidery because it allows me to focus on intricate details and create something meaningful, handmade designs.
