Assisting in daily care of equine athletes-ranging from rehabilitation type circumstances, starting young prospects, as well as working with older, experienced show horses keeping them honest and present to their best physical and mental abilities suiting their owners' goals. Within working my position with Vincienzo I have also gained valuable experience running the business side of the industry as well! Some of those tasks include organizing time sheets, routine billing, medical billing, farrier invoicing, and some entry level social media managing. I also have experience being responsible with assisting in veterinary medicine type circumstances including but not limited to; colicing horses. foaling out, administering IV and IM medications as well as more common forms of medications and supplements.
~Assisted in daily care for equine athletes including feeding, administering medications and supplements, assisting with the vet or farrier when needed, as well as saddling and unsaddling horses for head trainer and multiple assistants.
~Assisted in general barn management and organization, keeping a tidy barn, keeping a tidy and pest free hay and grain storage room, stall cleaning one day a week, as well as overseeing organizing the horse trailer for horse shows.
~Assisted with managing the ordering of grain, hay, and supplements for said equine athletes
~ Assisted with very basic tasks within an electrical company. Learned how to assemble basic outlets, light switches, run wires to wire up a new home, as well as some basic handyman type skills and problem solving.
~Assisted with managing the organization and reordering of supplies needed to keep the company vehicle stocked and ready for whatever type of job we were working on that day and for emergency calls.
