Summary

As a senior in college, I am extremely thankful for all of the skills I have been able to acquire throughout my experience in both the workforce and from my academic career, even though both of these paths are far from over. I have learned how to take care of others, build things, remain sensitive and aware, and learn how to better organize my own life. I have built life-long relationships with co-workers and employers. Overall, I am a very helpful and positive source of energy to have in any environment. I have done a lot of work internally and externally in the past three years. I have grown my cultural knowledge through my studies at EMU and in being involved in the Latinx Student Alliance, as well as through remaining engaged with events on campus I have also guided my peers through aspects of Title IX, helped them find resources, and served as a mentor through becoming a Peer Educator. These two roles helped me to become accountable, responsible, and learn how to best manage my time. Maintaining a growth mindset and the ability to remain organized and focused are some of my best qualities.
