Homeschooled our 2 children. One through HS Graduation and the other through Freshman Year of HS. 1st born now a Freshman at College playing baseball and 2nd born now a Sophomore and Athlete at Blaine HS.

Could not be prouder of the people they are.

The past 18+ years spent at home with our children have been the most rewarding & fulfilling years of my life.

Attended classes learning about Hawaii’s extraordinary environment and the damaging effects of plastic to the ocean & its inhabitants.

Traveled to events around the island educating children and adults about this problem and increasing awareness. Set up and worked booths at surfing contests, schools, parks and concerts.

Participated in many island wide beach cleanups helping to remove thousands of pounds of rubbish.

Had my 1st Salary Job as Manager at the Blue Heron Restaurant on Semiahmoo Golf Course.

When that position was terminated went to the Resort to work fine dining serving at Stars Restaurant.

Also helped out with Banquets and Room Service. Enjoyed my years at Semiahmoo very much but decided to Stay Home after our daughter was born.
