While I was in High School for 18 months (junior and senior year), I volunteered helping others in the following ways:

• Student leader and treasurer of the student-run coffee shop
• Student representative of that coffee shop, attending all meetings of the student union
• 2-year student peer-to-peer tutor as a part of the club
• Worked with alternative and special education program students as a part of the coffee shop
• Working with learning-disabled kids goes back to Middle School in the Peer Buddies program
• As a part of a job skills program, I volunteered at the youth bureau Christmas event twice
• Two-year stage crew member, helping create sets and ensuring the smooth run during the musical season as a stagehand and propmaster
