Ensures BTDS/hospital infectious disease and biohazardous policies and procedures are followed to include management of BTDS acquisition clean up at acquisition location.
  • Responsible for effective communication in arranging all logistics with outside agencies to ensure donor testing and tissue/sample shipping is within required specifications, i.e. sufficient blood/culture samples collected or cancelled if applicable.
  • Supports BTDS and Supervisor efforts by pursuing delivery schedules and being present during assigned opportunities. Communicates non-available times promptly to ensure recovery schedules are not disrupted, i.e. sick/vacation time, changes in work schedule. Supports BTDS Recovery Tech Team efforts by filling in at
    out-of-assigned areas when schedules allow and to promote mutual support.
  • Notifies Supervisor and assists with customer complaint resolutions and recovery issues. Communicates supply need ahead to time as to not disrupt the recovery schedule and provides input to management to improve recovery and customer service experiences.
