• As a first step towards placement, requests the parent/guardian send the UC's birth certificate, proper documentation and verification of the child’s/sponsor identity allows to confirm any relationship with the sponsor.
• Interviewed with the unaccompanied child (Onsite- Del Rio Border Patrol Sector), which include questions about whom she/he expects to live with in the United States, and whether the child knows other adults present in the United States. This information allows to identify multiple potential sponsors and order them by preference of release.
• Completed TDY assignments and serve onsite to assist Del Rio, TX Border Patrol Agents.

• Initiated and maintained direct contact with each UC, family, and potential sponsor while the UC was under the care of the Office of Refugee and Resettlement (ORR) to reunify the child safely and efficiently.
• Successfully reunified unaccompanied minors.
• Facilitated timely and safe release of unaccompanied children to identified family members or authorized caregivers/custodian.
• Reported significant incident reports with ORR policies, procedures, and documented the provision of services to child's respective case.
